Contacted Sony about packaging this program as it required an internet registration for each installation.
This was because i was copying the files off the cd into our repository and tring to create the package using those files.
** You cannot copy the files off the cd and package them from a network share. the original capture must be done using the genuine sony media. **
The communication i had from sony was . . .
"If you install Sound Forge 8.0 from the original application disc, this product does not require registration. Using a copy of the original application disc, a downloaded installation file, or a program such as wise package studio will require that Sound Forge 8.0 be registered within 30 days of installation."
