Tibco spotfire 3.3.1

There was issue with installation
i was not able to install the application in one go like i needed to run the installer twice. i found that installer was looking for a log file to write so I Placed a dummy file "spotfire.dxp.comstarter.log" to INSTALLDIR then started the installation as mentioned in Installtion command. It was success. I am not sure itz the best way to do but it worked.

I know this is old, but I was just deploying Tibco Spotfire 6.5.0 and the instructions in the following link worked.


I hope this helps someone.
