For installing Yahoo! Messenger 11.5 silently/passive - only the progress bar will be shown) use the following switch:
Till download progress is not completed yet, go to temp folder
type %temp% in address bar in Windows 7 you will find file with name: ymsgr_inst.exe.
Copy this file to desktop when downloading is finished and installing was started (but installing must be still in progress or in other case this file will be automatically deleted)
then for ymsgr_inst.exe you can use silent switch:
/q
Like I said:
*only progress bar will be shown, and
*clean install, without Internet Explorer Yahoo! bar, or Mozilla addon etc...
