A product we use in my environment is the Goverlan Administration Suite v7. It has a remote control application that is available for standalone purchase as well. The remote control presents a polished user interface that can use one of 3 different protocols to connect to machines. There is the agent based protocol, remote desktop protocol, and vnc protocol. The VNC is effective for working with macs and linux based machines, but won't be able to tap into vPro AMT until v8 which is due out earlier this year. The Goverlan remote control program integrates with KACE so you can launch a session using machine actions from KACE using the actions below.
by IP
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GoverLAN v7\\goverrmc.exe" KACE_HOST_IP
by Host Name
"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GoverLAN v7\\goverrmc.exe" KACE_HOST_NAME
For those of us that don't have the budget or need for expensive solutions like Bomgar, this is a great alternative. We've been using this product for almost a year now, and it's surpassed our expectations for the price we paid. Goverlan continues to add more features and value with each release.
