How To: View Multiple Owners Tickets at Once

Comments

  • If you're an owner of a queue, you can always abuse custom views (but sigh, the restriction of fields :( )

Outside the box use of the URL always good to see though! :) - Wildwolfay 11 years ago
  • Take a look at http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/twitter-bootstrap-for-kace-service-desk - Jbr32 11 years ago
  • @Wildwolfay True, I like the URL alterations mainly because they are easily shareable and no real limit on the field count etc

@Jbr32 This looks really cool, I hacked up some RSS fed dashboards but the ones you have look much cleaner. I'd love to take a look at your setup together sometime if you would be up for it! - tholmes 11 years ago
  • When I go to 'View By' and then 'Owner' all I see is two options: 'Mine and Unassigned' or 'Unassigned'. Should I be able to see a list of the ticket owners? I am doing this as a system admin. Is there a setting somewhere that you know of to view each owner separately.

  • make sure you have owners setup on that queue?
configuration -> queue-> owners by label - tholmes 10 years ago
    • thanks tholmes,
The owners were setup for that queue. What happened was my default queue was set to all queues. Apparently you can not see a list of the owners when you are viewing multiple queues at once. I drilled down into a specific queue and now I can see all of the owners names. - Kevino2010 10 years ago
