For most organisations that use the KACE SMA, the idea of IT asset Management goes without saying. You have an agent gathering all of that great data and from there springs the automation and efficiency that you were looking for, when you bought the tool set. But when it comes to expanding the remit of IT into an Asset Management program that looks after equipment that is not connected, most customers start to think twice. It is ironic that whilst we monitor and manage connected devices, quite possibly we are still only managing 50% of our complete estate and as such if we could get those other items under control, we would stand to save so much more time and money.
