Not clear if this site works yet. Not seeing any data or examples on the site, just an entry form (apparently the contents of the MSI file are listed and delivered via email). Not sure if the intention is to provide any insight beyond listing contents. -

looking at the site from a first visit perspective, your totally right. I will put up a tutorial and samples of the output. It is a very simple process that produces a straight forward document of the MSI's Features -> Components -> files and some common details of them. The process also writes out basic MSI product info.
Any comments, suggestions or fixes are welcome, I am providing the service for free to generate interest for future services.
One coming soon is the ability to create mst's easily, I have a working model I am just building a site around it to make the process simple. -

Packaging application with internet connection enabled system is not recommended...
Technical Review, Packaging, QA Testing everthing should be done in isolated environment..
Internet connection should be enabled in the packaging/testing machine as and when required.. otherwise don't do it..
You need to be very careful from virus, malware, spyware, trojen etc.. -

Not sure that your comments are valid, as how do any of your statements apply to producing documentation for a MSI.
Your caution is admirable but a little "first year", isolation , traceability and repeatability are core components for developing, testing and managing any project.
It doesn't matter if it is the actual software development itself, or the creation of the package for delivery.
While your statements are broadly correct. They are not relevant to this post nor are they (sorry about this) helpful to others reading it.
You could also say "Always ensure to back up your work, as you may lose it due to corrupt data!".
Broadly true, not really relevant to this post, not really helpful to readers of this post.
Sorry about the rant :-)
I welcome insightful and "helpful" feedback and would like to produce a better product from such feedback. -
