2 directorys

Hi,

I just updated my MSApp-V client from 4.5 to 4.6. First I uninstalled client 4.5 (control panel > remove applications)
After that I installed 4.6 (typical installation)

Why do I see 2 directories;
  1. C:\Program Files\Softricity\SoftGrid for Windows Desktops
  2. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Application Virtualization Client
Is that because of the compatibility with older apps?

To be honest, I have no clue... But it wouldn't surprise me. Afterall the regitry is also still populated with Softgrid keys.

Hi

Mmmm... sftlog.txt does not work anymore in my situation (with 2 directories). It exsist in C:\Program Files\Softricity\SoftGrid for Windows Desktops, but after launching a virt.app it isn't updated...(app is working fine)...think I have to do a re-install

Hi,

Ok, I found sftlog.txt in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\application Virtualization Client
I deleted the directory C:\Program Files\Softricity\SoftGrid for Windows Desktops and it looks now that everything works fine.

Still strange that the old directory is not removed during uninstall
