A-plan
hai,
Can an one help me in this .
I created a transform for a vendor MSI thru InstallShield.
In which i should add some HKCU keys for configuration settings for all the users.I added HKCU keys by creating separate component and given One HKCU key as key path.
Then i added active setup in MST.
Active setup is running fine all things are ok
But When i did repair thru control panel
MSI triggered for repair but in between the SAME Product is triggering for repair before completing the actual repair. It is going like that for 5 times and it is also finishing the repair without errors. Those triggered ones are ending because MSI is alredy In use.
When i checked in Eventvwr it is showing some warnings saying that the HKCU component keypath not found.
When i removed keypath for the component and installed then this Crazy thing is not happening.
