About drivers applications

Hi All
I am sumit here..
Can anyone tell me please whats the process of repackaging a drivers applications???
Is there any specific approach we are suppose to follow for that??
How to put the tray icon in a msi of an application??
I mean to say what property we are suppose to set for that??
Please help me out in this regard

ahh the best things to package.

one would assume you did not read the tips at the top of this forum, it has one of the best documents around for packaging drivers.

no point explaining much more until you have read that.

drivers also heavily depend on wether they are signed or unsigned.

lookup difx as a tool for aiding with silent deployment.

once you have read those come back and ask the question again.

Searching the forums is a good and fast way to find threads that may answer your specific questions when you have on.

This thread goes through how to sign drivers, install certificate and using the DIFxApp merge module to install the driver into the DRVSTORE so it will be available when you plug in a PnP hardware device.
