abt uninstalling lower version of winzip after installing higher version
hi i am new to packging..
can any one tell me pls how to unintall winzip lower version after installing the higher version...
the uninstaltion should be silently
I am using wise tool.

Hi
1. In the "windows installation editor" go to "upgrades" (bottom, left side).
2. click Add and add your old WinZip msi.
3. you should correct the order of installation and uninstallation. Go to "Msi Script", "Execute Immediate" and
move "RemoveExistingProducts" (bottom) up before "InstallValidate".

Which versions are we talking about here?
There is no need for using wise, as the newest version already comes as an MSI.
Create a transform with ORCA to remove the older one with a CA.

Well my requirments are i am not sure abt which winzip version is install on my client system ....
My need id to unistall the older version of winzip and install the new version without displaying any dialoge box....
We are not sure wathere the older version of winzip is having msi or exe....
