Acrobat 7 with Reader

Hi,

Is there solution for uninstalling acrobat pro 7 that after it removed reader open pdf files, in my case now when I uninstall acrobat 7 pro it brakes all extensions with pdf and reader is not set as default for pdf files.

Easiest way is to either exclude them from the installation or restore the reg values

And maybe some advice which registry coz they are a lot.

  • I dont have the registries but I would do the following : take an installrite capture of the whole process i.e. 1. First snapshot of test machine with Acrobat Pro installed . 2. Install Reader. 3. Uninstall Reader. 4 Second Snapshot. THen u can export the required deleted/modified registries to a reg file. Add a script to merge this reg file. - hrs2cool 12 years ago

That is not really solution. I believe that there is something wrong with registry but not sure what exactly.
