Active X

I have a application that came with a MSI package but using the MSI package it does NOT install the active x Component of the appication. How can i get the active x component to install with the MSI?

For future reference we have several other internal websites that use active x controls. is there any way to deploy active x controls on a global scale like group policy?

I suspect that the host that the application talks to is downloading and trying to install those components.

Your best option would be to capture the download and installation into a separate MSI and deploy both via Group Policy, if that's your chosen methodology.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
