Adding a msi into the wrapper
Hi All,
Request your kind advice for the below issue.
I have created a wrapper where I copied the source folder inside the msi and executed the exe using a custom action. Now the client asks me to add one msi inside the wrapper so that after the exe is installed this msi should install. Kindly advice if this can done as per best practice.
Kind Regards

It depends on what you mean by "wrapper". If my reading is correct, you have wrapped an EXE-based install inside an MSI, presumably because the client is deploying via Group Policy - I can't think of any other sensible reason that anyone would want to do that. If that's the case, then - notwithstanding WI v4.5's ability to chain MSIs, which isn't really the same thing - no, you cannot execute an MSI inside another MSI, as you must surely have seen advised here many, many times.
