Adobe Reader 7.0 hangs up W2K PC's on logoff/shutdown
I seen that there was a noted issue in regards to Adobe Reader 7.0 and a memory hogging issue with Office 2003. Has anyone found a workaround for this?

For those of you who encountered an issue with the AcroRd32.exe process still running after opening a PDF from the browser even after the browser is closed, I was able to confirm that this is an Adobe feature. After 5 minutes the process will end.
Adobe's reasoning is that a typical end-user will not be logging off or shutting down within that 5 minute time frame.
Thus this is not a bug with Reader 7.0. So including in your load package the Reader 7.0.1 update will not prevent it, nor removing or adding any API plugins.
