Anyone else experiencing issues with driver letters changing after Sysprep?

The only thing that I have found during research is:  https://jackstromberg.com/2012/12/preventing-drive-letters-from-changing-during-sysprep/, but that has not made any difference.

I have also searched on ITNinja but nothing...

I am trying to create "sendback" images of Windows 8 and 10.  I never had this issue for 3 years and now suddenly it appears and I am running out of ideas.

Any help would be appreciated.

That hasn't happened to me since Windows 7 and the 100 MB System Partition.

before you capture the image, you will need to reassign the drive letters to the correct partition using diskpart command. I don't have my notes anymore but take a look a this https://support.quest.com/kb/113970/capturing-and-deploying-multiple-partitions-for-windows-7-and-later and it might give you an idea on how to fix it.
