App-V Adobe Reader 9.4.1 and view pdf in IE
Hi
Has anyone been able to sequence Adobe Reader 9.4 and get a pdf to open in IE?
I have opened IE and displayed a pdf in IE during the sequencing but everytime I test it, it just downloads it and opens it in Acrobat reader outside IE.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

* i m just a beginner so do take advice from experts.
Dynamic suiting needs to be done .
if u virtualize the adobe reader only ur application gets virtualized .
so while u were launching the shortcut u need to add IE shortcut also . and try opening pdf in it .
I have done it and itz been a while.
also if u seee the adobe prreference u will get a tab embedding the pdf in browser.
i have not experimented much ..
but i supose u will get some idea..

Unless you IE published throught either the Adobe Reader sequence or some other (like rock_star mentions), you can't have it display PDF's in IE because there is no way IE (as a non virtualized OS component) is going to look inside a sequence for Adobe Reader.
So, if embedded PDF view is a mandatory option, I'd say you'd be better off NOT virtualizing the Reader.
