appv VFS
I am new to appv . Just want to know about VFS install.
When we do a VFS install (C:\program files\app)..... all the folders are replaced by CSIDLE_ etc in package.
So when it is streamed to client....where those files will be put up...will those get copied in c drive????????

Hey Ver,
The concept of application virtualization itself is not to copy anything to C:\program files\app folder. All the virtual applications (in either case (VFS or MNT)) are streamed to appdata folders on the client machines. Please check out the below link for basic differences between VFS and MNT: http://blogs.technet.com/b/appv/archive/2007/07/16/the-vfs-versus-mnt-install.aspx.
Hope that helps.
