Asset Linking
K1000 6.0
So, I'm a support agent for my company and I'm working through kace. I have created asset tables that contain license keys that are dependent on user name. However, some users may have several keys depending on the various software that they utilize for their work. In order to normalize data and also make it easier to track, I decided to split this data into two tables. One Asset table (type) would carry generic user and machine data with standard licenses such as Office or Adobe. While the other table would carry keys for software like Visio, Project, etc.
My question is, is there a way to link these two tables together either by machine name or user? Such that if I in an asset table were to click on the username, it would take me to the first detailed page of the user with the various keys and then below contain a link that would lead to the second table which contained the specialized software keys? I know there is a type field called Link which I can use to point towards the page which contains the other keys, but was wondering if there's an inherent relationship type or ability within KACE that allows an admin to input in user data and have it be linked implicitly?
