Can you add a Publisher to the Patching Subscriptions?

I have a question regarding the Publishers list in the Subscriptions page of Kace. I subscribe to all the relevant publishers to make sure the apps I need to get patched are subscribed. However, there is an anomaly whereby the Publishers list does not include some of the software we have on our endpoints. For instance, under Selected Publishers, I have 'Adobe Systems, Inc' - but that is the only option for Adobe apps (see. We have many versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader where the publisher is shown simply as 'Adobe' in Kace, and these apps aren't patched as a result.

Is there any way to manually add a publisher to the list so apps like this can be patched? Specifically, in this case, 'Adobe'?

Did you ever create a ticket? I have the same issue...I can create a script that will run RUM, Adobe's remote update manager but that seems counter intuitive to having built in patch management.

hey @mache62 I did indeed end up creating a ticket and went through a remote support call with Quest. It turned out that the issue in my case wasn't to do with the patch feed/publisher, but rather with the installer I used to initially installed the Adobe Reader in the first place. For some reason, when I installed Adobe Reader using the exe directly from their website, Kace wouldn't detect it for patching. Weird I know. We have no problem with Adobe apps that were installed using other packages, just that one. I need to source a different installer/method for reader in this instance. hope this helps!
