Software Deployment

I tryed to do a silent install with the version 4932 with the setup.exe /s nothing happens.  I tryed to repackage with appdeploy, but it is really not evident for the registry.  I don't know what to keep or remove.  Is it a removable item in the programs and features panel?

if this soft is what I think it is (MF Toolbox), the setup.exe I downloaded, when put through WinZip, actually contained an Installshield setup AND an MSI.
So dump all the baggage and start working from the MSI, see what you get when you silently install it.

I have ToolBox_4911mf10_Win_EN.exe. When this file is extracted, it does include a setup.exe along with several other files but there is not an MSI. I have attempted to extract the setup.exe using WINZIP; setup /extract_all:"<path>; setup /extract with no success. When I run through the setup, I don't see any files or directory being created in the %TEMP% folder.

I also contacted the vendor technical support and received feedback that they don't offer silent installs & uninstalls for this product.

hmm, this kinda sucks, I have a slightly different (older?) version here, ToolBox4911mf04_Win_EN.exe, and this does contain an MSI. Since I don't know what their versioning rules are, I dunno what the difference would be.

Gotta love some vendors...
