Changing East Asian Languages
hi
In one of my application i have to change the language to chinese(prc).
i packaged it by doing as given in : http://newton.uor.edu/Departments&Programs/AsianStudiesDept/Language/asianlanguageinstallation_XP.html
If i do the same thing manually its working fine but if i do it using the msi created by the same process am not able to change it.
The language in task bar is changing am able to see some change but when i type in microsoft word its not working. when i start typing in the microsoft word its again becoming english(u.s).
please suggest me if any one knows about it.

Hi , I m unable to get ur exact problem . However what i have understand is that u want to package an app which is of different language other than english.
One thing u can do before u capture, set the regional settings to the language u want and then package the app . And in the wsi created u can change the language options compile it and get the msi in the language u need.
Hope this would work out. If my assumption is correct
Cheers

Here I will explain you in detail about what am facing:

>I need to create an msi(Microsoft installer) to change the language of the microsoft word 2003 to chinese(prc) instead of typing in english.
usually we achieve this by changing some options in the control pane\regional language settings. instead of changing the language manually i want to achieve it through msi.
