Check Point End Point Security - Media Encryption client

Hi,,
I am working on above application. I can Install it's source without any problem. Source contains setup.exe+loose files+msi. When I tried to install msi seprately, it got installed with the same number of files folders and registries, but after reboot, it is showing blue screen, and gives startup mode prompt. In source, it works properly.

Is that accidental or have you tried it more than once?
Did you install the loose files with it?
Have you checked if the setup.exe passes any properties to the MSI that you might be missing?
Can't the setup.exe be run silent?

And, although it might be against best practice... If you really want to repackage it into an MSI, have you tried to just snap it?

Clearly the stub is performing some extra tasks which aren't in the MSI. You need to determine what those tasks are.

do a gap capture to see what you msi is missing

install msi on clean worksation
run your snapshot tool
install setup.exe
run your after snaphot and see what files , regkeys you have captured
add gap capture to your base msi and see if you still have any errors
