Clean up of downloaded files in cache directory on client e.g Dell\KACE\downloads

Hi,

Weve just started implementing a K1000 v5.3 appliance, ive noticed when deploying via software library the files in the download cache e.g Dell\KACE\downloads for each package arent deleted after install.

I found a doc; http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/What-are-some-differences-between that says "Another thing to note is when the Software Library Install completes the downloaded installation packages is automatically deleted"
This isnt happening though. Does anyone know wether this should be happening or is the doco wrong?

Just wondering how people are handling this? Its causing issues here - even just for testing a package for release, the changed package isnt downloaded to client (because the files aready exist on the clients local download cache) unless I manually delete them first.

Thanks

Rohan.

I spoke with KACE Support, they tell me this is a known bug, and should be fixed in next Agent v5.4.

There going to send through a script workaround in the meantime.
