Corel Graphics Suite 12: Common dialog problems
I've been preparing Corel graphics suite 12 for deloyment (msi admin install) and it's all good, except:
Since I work in a school it's necessary to have fairly restrictive policies. One of these policies is customisation of the windows common dialog. Specifically it dictates which shortcuts appear on the far left corner of the common dialog (eg history, my docs, desktop, favorites, my net places).
This policy has never proved to cause a problem with the many many apps I have installed on the network, but CGS 12 isn't having it. When this policy is applied, CGS doesn't display the common dialog properly and if enabled it triggers CARM (corel automated recovery mechanism, I think).
So... my question is: is there any way of telling CGS to use standard common dialogs instead of it's 'enhanced' ones which don't cope with customised common dialogs? I've been told that in Corel's WPS 10 there was a setting where you could disable Corel's enhanced dialog. I can't see anything obvious, but if someone knows of a way of doing this in CGS12?
So far Corel have just said it isn't supported.
Thanks
