Custom ticket rule for changing asset based on custom field

I have a reverse ticket situation where the service desk has to send the ticket out.  To do this they have to select the location which will then send an email notice to a distribution group email.  (that I have working)  What I need help on is to update the assest field with the corresponding asset that is tide to a location.  Example: If branch 1 is chosen then branch scanner 1 is selected from the assest list.  I wasnt sure if this is considered an update query???

Any help would be appreciated......

  • I had a look and while its theoretically possible it is going to involve so much code and join as its not really practical. Or its going to take someone way better than I to code it. The problem is the table joins, no really easy way I can see - jdornan 11 years ago
