deleting shortcuts
hello guys,
I am trying to package java1.4 in installsheild. i dont want any shortcuts so removed the shortcuts from the shirtcuts section and also looked in the registry to make sure nothing was there... but when run, it makes a desktop icon. Any suggestions where else can be looked? in the registry, I am looking in the current user.

For some reason, Sun seem to have created the shortcuts with custom actions: CreateJavaWSDesktopIcon and CreateJavaWSStartMenuIcon.
If you just want to remove the desktop shortcut, set the property WEBSTARTICON to 0.
