Dell Bluetooth ESeries Package
Hello. This is my first post here. I have heard good things about appdeploy and I am look forward to using the site and forum.
I am creating a package for the deployment of Bluetooth software for Dell ESeries laptops. The package uses a vb script to run a msi. I am also creating several registry keys and checking for specific laptop models.
The package is working perfectly except for one issue. The msi places several shortcuts throughout. I have setup the script to remove all but cannot get the shortcut on the desktop removed.. The shortcut on the desktop does not appear in all users\desktop or the user profile\desktop. I have also checked default user. When I right click the shortcut, it only gives me two options. These options are Start Using Bluetooth and Create Shortcut.
I know how to removed the shortcut using the script but I cannot locate it anywhere on the system. Does anyone know how I can find it's location?

Firstly, welcome to AppDeploy.
Secondly, this is really the wrong forum for your post, since the issue isn't with a script as such but with the MSI. It should be in the 'Package Devlopment' forum. No matter: if a moderator agrees, it may be moved to that forum.
Thirdly, you could (should, actually) remove the shortcuts you don't want in a transform which you would then apply to the MSI from the command line (or, in this case, from your script). That is a much simpler approach.
