Years ago I attended the Dell Kace event in Austin and heard tell of a Dell product called Data Bond. This allowed a pool of users to set aside unused space on their workstations to be used as backup disks for others in the pool. I thought this was a great idea, but it appears it never took off. I'm sure there are many people in the same boat as us with 500GB or 1TB disks that only have about 100GB worth of data on them. Does anyone know what happened to that or has anyone heard of something similar?
