Deploy Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0 With GPO
I have a problem with deploying this.
I have made a MST-file with InstallTuner and when I run it in "run" with msiexec /i :\test\adobe.msi ALLUSERS=1 TRANSFORMS=c:\test\test.mst
then it works like a charm... not a single problem.
but then. I try to deploy it with GPO. I assign it to a user with admin-rights...
When he logs on, he gets the whole Software installing.... etc.. and it take a minute or two before it logs into Windows. Everythings fine.. byt then... No Icons in programs etc..
In control panel "add/remove programs" is nothing.. but when I choose "add new programs" And in the "add programs from your network:.. its there..."
Then I can press add.
Then its gets through the whole install process again..
THEN I have icons in program.. but not the right ones... and when I press it, the installation starts.. and after this time and I press finish it appears in "add/remove program" but icons still not right and when I press them.. installation AGAIN... [:(]
Someone... Heeeelp... [8|]

Well.. All other program reaches the machines without any trouble... and if I just change from another program-package or make a GPO with Adobe and another program, the other program gets installed correct but not Adobe.
I just installed a virtual win2003 server and winxp pro. I didnt do anything with the server but make a GPO which installs adobe.. Still the same problem. But when I type the "msiexec /i c:\test\test.msi TRANSFORMS=test.mst" thing.. it works... Sooo...
I tried the msiexec /jm and /ju... but nothing happend, I just got the "installer starting"... then nothing more... That seems kind of strange thou....
any new guesses?

I am not going to be too much help but here goes. This is exactly the problem I am getting with my application PrimoPDF, a freeware PDF writer. I can manually install and publish the app via group policy but cannot get it to install when assigned by group policy. I have had to stick with publishing.
