Deploy Adobe CS2 per user
Has anyone successfully deployed Adobe Creative Suite 2 (or just one of it's components such as Photoshop, InDesign etc) on a 'per user' basis?
I'm trying to deploy Photoshop CS2 'per user' via AD but has run into the following problems:
1 - The shortcuts are not advertised, so my advertised installations doesn't show the shortcuts.
Solution: I edited the MSI and made the shortcuts advertised. Making it thorough an MST didn't seem to work, do the /j switch not handle MST:s?
2 - The installation halts with a msg about the need for being administrator in order to install the package.
Solution: I removed the Launch condition "AdminUser"
3 - When I click the advertised shortcut as a normal user to start the installation I recieve the following error msg "Fatal error during installation". I havn't found a solution for this yet. I guess it might depend on that the shortcut resides in a specific feature and only that feature is installed (which is not enought?)
It might not be fully nessesary to do an administrative installation. I could live with the package beeing fully installed at login time. Has anyone successfully done that (per user) ?
Has anyone had better success then me?
