Deploying Office XP SP3 Via AD
Hi to all,
I'm trying to deploy MS Office XP SP3 to users who are currently having MS Office SP1 installed. I'm trying to get away from creating the administrative installation, because by doing it i will have to deploy the complete office.
If any one tried it, i will be really appreciated for his suggestion.
Thanks
Moh'd

You're pretty much stuck with redeploying.
Since your only option is to deploy MSI's, if you were to create an msi containing strickly the SP3 update, your original msi would repair itself and overwrite your changes. If you're unluck you'd get into a repair loop & really be stuck.
My predecessor tried to deploy just office 2k3 sp2 on top of the sp1 deployment, and it crashed and burned. Redeployment is your only option.
