Deploying Windows 8 64 bit using KACE 2000

Hello,

I downloaded Windows 8 ADK kit from Microsoft and then used the K2000 Media manager to create the K2000 boot enviornment.  I also uploaded the Windows 8 64 bit iso using the K2000 Media Manager.  After uploading the boot enviornment, I use pxe boot to access the Windows 8 kbe.  I also created the Windows 8 64 bit scripted installation.  When I choose it, it automatically goes back to the black with the available kbes.  It doesn't launch.  Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

is another installation working fine?

Check if all needed drivers (Network + Storage) are avaiable in the KBE and also if there is enough space for the KBE (512MB)

  • Windows 8 32 bit is working perfectly. There is enough space. I will check and see if all the drivers are downloaded. - nrahley 11 years ago

On some of my win 8 scripted installs I had to use UEFI settings to boot and deploy to get it to work.
