Download or finding server logs

Is it possible to download or find the server logs in the database? We are having apache spikes that cause kace to be unresponsive for about 10 minutes. They are normally happening around 12:30am and by the time I am able to look in the server logs in the morning they are too full to look back that far.

I need a way to automate the download or query of server logs so I can see more than just a few hours worth of logs.

There isn't a way to automatically download logs, or at least no functionality in the KBOX for it.  In any case, downloading the logs, as opposed to viewing the logs tab, should give you several days of logs.

You have a couple of options.

1. You can download the logs through the GUI from one of the following locations:

Settings>Support>Troubleshooting Tools>K1000 Troubleshooting Logs

Or if you have organizations enabled:

System>K1000 Settings>Support>Troubleshooting Tools>K1000 Troubleshooting Logs

2. There is a patch that KACE support can give you that will open a share that the logs can be downloaded from.  Ask for the triage patch if that might help you.

You should be able to automate a process on another system/server to pull the logs from the share if you use the second option.
