Dreamweaver 6 Silent Uninstall Help Needed
Dreamweaver 6.0 Silent Uninstall needed
I have tried every combination of switches and scenarios to get this stupid thing to uninstall silently. No matter what I do I am prompted with a
Confirm Uninstall dialog box
Below I have listed the command lines I have tried. All of the work, NONE of them supresses this stupid dialog box. This uninstall needs to be SILENT, I can't use Autoit and stuff like that as this will be pushed when no user is logged in. I have tried to create an uninstall .iss but no maintenence window ever is shown to do so.
I am sure someone else has encountered this problem using <crap>installshield</crap> and any assistance would be appreciated.
I have tried the following and a ton of other switch combinations that continue to prompt with that one dialog box.

RunDll32 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\Ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{8B4AB829-DFD3-436D-B808-D9733D76C590}\Setup.exe" -l0x7 mmUninstall -r

I know you mentioned that you have tried to create an uninstall response file unsuccessfully, but it's possible you may not have the correct command to do so.
I recently answered a similar question in the forum here so it may be worth looking at that note.
The command to record an uninstall for Dreamweaver 4 is
RunDll32 C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\Ctor.dll,LaunchSetup "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{05BB2EC5-6BEF-4DDC-9E75-BEE7B161157A}\Setup.exe" -l0x7 mmUninstall -r
so something similar might work for Dreamweaver 6 ....
