File Association problem

Hi Guys..
Facing a peculair problem with one of the Adoobe Photelemnt apps...
This application has various file associations like .8ba,.8bc etc which are related to Adobe Plug-in, the file associations are working fine with the source but when we cross check the file associations with our sequenced application the following interface is observed that the file asscociation opens the app interface with an error message which says " the file accociation is not able to read"

The file association (suppose .8ba) is linked with a ProgID which is PhotoShop.Plugin and the shell and the open commands are specified in this ProgID, when we deploy the application through Soft Grid the Parameter for this extension gets changed. In the source there are no parameters specified where as an additional “%1” parameter is added as default here.

Whenever we don’t specify any Parameters for the file Extensions then Soft Grid by default takes it as”%1” and hence this error comes with the sequence.

Has anyone faced this issue and are there any resolutions for this???

Cheers
AJ

Hi,

I also had the same issue with the Adobe Dreamweaver app.

Please Check in the wizard the parameter was not got capture correctly, so in order to do that pass the parameter like "%1" from the wizard.

In i dont make sense to you please let me know OR Instead reply back with the param option seen in that OSD ?

Thank You
