File Install Only MSI
I want to make an MSI that simply creates a folder called "MyApp" in C:\Program Files and then I want it to copy all the files into that folder. Then I want to create a shortcut on the start menu that points to C:\Program Files\MyApp\MyApp.exe.
In the past I have done an InstallShield SnapShot of the install of the Vendor EXE. This is so simple that it is making me unsure. Should I do a SnapShot of manually creating the folder and copying the files and making the shortcut? And then clean up any other junk that got captured?
