Firefox - Disable plugin update and vulnerability check

Hello guys,

I'm wondering if there is a way to disable Firefox's vulnerability/update check for plugins like Java and Flash player.
I'm interested in flash player in particular. I saw that this can be done individually by edditing "about:config".

But to make this applicable for all computers, what are the exact parameters and files i have to modify?

I'll be gratefull if anyone could help me on this.

regards

  • xpinstall.signatures.required toggled to false might actaully do it. See if that helps.

Modifying the config file in firefox installation directory should make that a standard for all the users. - Sidhugadu 8 years ago
