Healthcare applications deployment (e-MDs)

Hi, anybody in the healthcare field in this forum?

Has anybody been able to repackage and deploy e-mds from www.e-mds.com successfully?

  • You probably can, I have a feeling it will be a MSI already...? - rileyz 11 years ago
  • pedro@mcs-texas.com - Were you able to successfully repackage e-MDs for unattended installation? If so, I would love to hear how since I too am running into issues repackaging it. Thanks! Rmurphy@garlandtx.gov - rmurphy@garlandtx.gov 10 years ago

Yes! As long as you're on Solution Series 7.2.2+, you can do it! They have a setup guide for this to do it their way. Here are the insctructions to do it their way (You'll need a login): https://supportcenter.e-mds.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=1820&hitOffset=270+267+266+205+64+43+42

What it's boiling down to, is they're using Task Scheduler to do this. Since we use Kaseya, looks like all I have to do is extract the Apps folder in the Setup.EXE (Servicepack setup file) and run it with a /s switch. Going to test in about an hour.
