Help required in Repackaging Office 2003
Hi All,
I'm facing problem in repackaging Office 2003. Below is the brief description.
I have slip streamed Office 2003 with SP1 and trying to repackage with Wise package studio. I'm able to repackage sucessfully. The problem arises after installation, none of the shortcuts are working. It dont show Icons and up on executing it searches for .exe file. How can I address this problem for shortcuts. Please help me.
Many Thanks,
Satya.

PM me with your email address and I will send you a document I put together on Office 2003. I have step by step instructions and hyperlinks from where you can download the resource kit. I also detail how to setup the admin point and how to apply sp1 and all the other patches to the admin point.
Office 2003 is a very complex msi, but not complicated to configure once you know what you need to do.

This has been covered here at AppDeploy several times, but here are the basics again:
1. Insert your Office 2k3 CD. It must be an Enterprise / volume license edition. Others will not allow an admin install.
2. Open a command line, change directories to you CD drive, and enter "setup /a"
3. follow the prompts, during which you will be prompted for location and your 25 character key.
4. Download ORK 2003, install it, and run the Custom Installatio Wizard against the .msi in your administrative installation point.
Some info is here:
