Help with MSI (Microsoft Installer) error 1913: Could not update the .ini file [2][3]. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

Where 2 and 3 are the name of the INI file in question.
This can occur if the INI file is set to read-only as in the case with WIN.INI and Office 2000.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
