Member David S writes, "We could not build a transform for it due to this error. It turns out that certain properties are REQUIRED for the sake of the product summary especially if you want to create a transform. According to ICE05 the required Properties are: ProductName, ProductLanguage, ProductVersion, ProductCode, and Manufacturer. If one of these is missing from the MSI it will likely result in the 2757 Error. PS In our particular case the ProductVersion property was missing. I discovered this by opening the MSI with Wise Package Studio and using the Validation tool. WPS can be too clever though, because it also automatically senses the missing ProductVersion value and creates one with a value of 1.0.0.0. However this property is not really IN the msi until it is SAVED (or SAVED AS). So looking at the gui ProductVersion LOOK like it is there, because WPS has already fixed it but not saved it . This makes it APPEAR that all is well while frustrating attempts to discover why all is NOT well. In any case, the process is to validate the msi to find out what required property is missing."
