If you are seeing this error in your log file, but do not see it during setup- it may be ignored. See MS KB article, OFF2000: Error Message Log File Always Contains "Internal Error 2898: Please Contact Product Support for Assistance" for details.
If this is the case, but you are having installation problems, look toward the end of your log file for the message "MainEngineThread is returning (1)" where (1) is the actual internal error code you should search for in the Windows Installer Error Reference.
