This is "m" currently I am working with WPS 7.0 see I have few plans to do some study on SVS as well as deployment tools like SMS altiris and Tivoli. But I have few doubts like how long will the field of packaging and deployment will be in the market at a high pitch and what will you sujjest me to look deeply into in coming days so that i will be in a good position even after 10 years if there is any changes in the process. please let me know the details as soon as possible.

This probably isn't the correct forum for this discussion, but here are my 2 cents anyhow.
A lot of people say this about different fields in IT, that networking won't be the same in 10 years, neither will hardware repair or administration. This might be true, but it's not going to be so drastically different that the skills you learn now won't apply logically to what will be done in the future. In fact, anytime spent deploying software and managing machines is going to be a great learning experience, and in fact will better prepare you for what is coming. Packaging in some form will be around for a long time, as well as software deployment.
