Use the ldap browser in Settings>Control Panel>User Authentication.  You can then put in the necessary ldap information to connect to your DC.  For the samaccountname change KBOX_USER to a user name.  From there you will see the different attributes to retrieve. The default ldap import doesn't include information on phone numbers but you can include them. You will then need to map the information during the import. It used to be that if you imported users in the K1000 and then wanted to have other attributes added that were not part of the initial import those new added attributes wouldn't populate. I don't know if that was fixed in the last few versions or not.
