How do i replace 2 dll's ?

I need to replace 2 dll's in a wise MSI project with older versions, both Oracle system files.

One of them will replace fine, the other won't. The 2 files are in separate components but with same keypath
The dll which doesn't replace the newer version have its "Add To Hash Table" greyed out in File Details.

How do i get around replacing the 2 dll's?

Hi Bart,

Try this one , go to the component in Setup Editor and then click on Components tab and select the DLL file component that is not getting replaced and then right click anywhere on the window and choose option New Component and then name anything try to add the dll file. Try this one , a honest help from my side.

Why don't you just convert your msi back to a wsi, replace the two files in the file system (where you just extracted all the files during this conversion) and recompile the msi?
That should work fine.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
