How do you turn off the auto updates for Java and flash player?
No matter what I do it always asks for auto updates.

Which one of the 20-odd threads I counted (before I got bored and stopped) are you having trouble following? Or was it the Package KB entries which foxed you? And were we meant to guess which flavour of JRE/Flash Player you're having problems with?
