How does the K1000 know what your user domain is ?

This is probably a stupid question but I want to make sure. How does Dell KACE server know what domain the computer is using ? The Dell KACE is not using LDAP integration for all the user accounts. Does it actually pickup the domain from the User Logged info ?

The K1000 uses WMI in Windows to gather inventory as well as the user info. It would be something similar to running this in a command prompt:

wmic computersystem get username

As far as I was aware it picked it up from the user logged info....just like if you type SET into a command prompt you get USERDOMAIN=XXX
