How to create a custom dialog in msi using VS 2008

Hi all,

I have a msi created in Visual Studio 2008. I want to create a custom dialog where I want to show the html EULA page which contains few urls. MSI should support to redirect the clicked URL in custom dialog.

Please suggest me to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Sanjay

You'll need to create a callable function in a DLL and then create a Custom Action to call it. You may need to populate property values, too, depending on what your requirements are once the user closes the called HTML page.

Er...I already answered your question. You need to create a dialog which is called by a function in a DLL and then call that function from a Custom Action in the MSI. I - perhaps foolishly - assumed that, since you're using Visual Studio, you are a developer. Clealry not...

I'm afraid I don't have the time - nor is this the place - to tutor you in creating DLLs. PM me with a detailed specification and I'll send you a quotation. Note, however, that I don't envisage I'll be free to begin the project for at least the next 12 weeks.
