How to Deploy Adobe Indesign with Custom Settings?
Hia all
I deploy Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator like Adobe suggest it. How could i customice some Settings in Indesign, and deploy it with the package?
Language-settings should be EN_US, but the default Pagesetup should use millimeter instead of inch, and the paper Format should be A4 instead of "Letter"
I hope my english isnt to bad, and hope you could give me some tipps [;)]

G'Day Heinz,
See my reply to the Photoshop CS3. This is how we got around the customisation issues.
It's probably in the users profile preferences file in the appdata\adobe\Adobe Indesign CS3 folder(I'm not at work at the moment, so I'll check tomorrow 19th Sept Ozzie time).
Use an Active setup or self repair for each new user to place your customised file back into this location.
Regards
Wayne

Thanks for helping me out!
I`have found the File, which you mean:
The Path: Userprofile\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 5.0\
Filename: InDesign Defaults
It is binary and have a size of 800kb.. Also i make a new MSI, which copy the File to the Profilefolder, and use ActiveSetup to copy it to other Users, like you describe it. In NetInstall i made an additional "User" Filecopy, this way i havent to relogon or restart.
Tommorrow i could run the first test.
Many thanks!
